  It's not so much a mistake, as the line is corrupt and subjected to numerous emendations. Thomson has, "immo etiam taedet,  obestque magis;" the Mynors OCT has "prodest" first. The manuscripts are not that much of a help, since they all go back to a single manuscript. |   |
